In the last 24 hours I have:

Sung out loud in my car
Improvised stories with my family to the soundtrack of a depressed violin
Laughed out loud with some of my favourite people
Watched a movie
Overslept
Been offered a job
Danced with my dog
Been pinch-punched
Gotten splashed with water for April-fools’
Been attacked by a soaking wet tissue
Attacked someone with a soaking wet tissue
Watered plants
Consumed about 5 litres of water
Sipped on Guava juice
Stood in the sunlight
Started reading The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire by Deepak Chopra
Spoken passionately
Been there for a loved one
Spoken to strangers
and caught up with friends

And that is why I’m Thankful.

More often than not, life is the sweetest at the most simplest of moments.
